These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MissOut and all related products and services operated by Intrct Technologies under the MissOut brand, including Stage for event discovery and the Backstage event-management suite. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. By creating an account, making a purchase, or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MissOut.
You must be at least 16 years old to use MissOut, including to purchase paid tickets or registrations. We do not verify your age at registration. By creating an account or using the platform you represent and warrant that you are at least 16. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the platform and to make purchases. Access to certain organiser features (Backstage) may require additional verification of your college affiliation.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@missout.in if you suspect any unauthorised use. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date.

Organisers who publish events on MissOut are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and fulfilment of those events, including venue access, scheduling, and compliance with applicable laws. Organisers must publish clear refund, cancellation, and postponement rules before enabling paid sales where those rules differ from our default policies.
MissOut provides Stage for discovery and Backstage for event management. For paid events, the Event Organiser is the seller of tickets and registrations. MissOut facilitates payment collection and ticketing technology on the organiser's behalf. We are not a party to your agreement with the organiser regarding attendance, except as stated in these Terms and our Refund Policy.
Paid registrations and tickets may be offered through MissOut. Depending on the event, payment may work in one of two ways: (a) direct UPI to the organiser, where the ticket price is paid to the organiser's UPI account shown at checkout and MissOut provides registration and verification technology; or (b) payment gateway processing through an authorised partner such as Razorpay, when enabled for that event.
All amounts are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless an event states otherwise. You must provide accurate billing and contact information. For direct-UPI events, your UPI app may show the organiser payee name; MissOut is not the recipient of the ticket price in that mode. For gateway events, your statement may show MissOut or the payment partner.
We may refuse, cancel, or limit orders (including for suspected fraud, duplicate accounts, or violation of per-person purchase limits). We may update payment partners or merchant configuration for compliance or operational reasons without changing your statutory rights where applicable.
Before you complete checkout, we show the ticket or registration price and any platform fee (and, for gateway events, payment processing charges and applicable taxes where shown). The organiser sets the underlying ticket price; MissOut may charge a platform fee for use of the Platform. Direct-UPI events do not route ticket proceeds through MissOut.
Unless required by law or stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, platform and processing fees are generally non-refundable for customer-initiated cancellations. If an organiser cancels an event and MissOut verifies it, we refund the full amount you paid, including fees and taxes shown at checkout.
Refund and cancellation rules are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By default, paid tickets are non-refundable. MissOut does not provide platform-level refunds based on event experience; contact the organiser for those matters.
We are not responsible for cancelled, postponed, or changed events beyond processing verified refunds as described in the Refund Policy. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs you incur in connection with an event.
If you have a payment issue, contact the event organiser (or the verifier contact shown at checkout for direct-UPI events) and info@missout.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unauthorised or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and recovery of amounts where permitted by law.
A ticket or registration confirmation is a revocable licence to attend the event, subject to the organiser's and venue's rules. Organisers or venues may refuse entry for safety, conduct, or policy violations without refund. Tickets have no cash value unless required by law.
If you use Backstage to sell paid registrations or tickets, you agree to the following in addition to the attendee-facing Terms above:
The MissOut name, logo, product designs, and all original content on the platform are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the platform.
MissOut is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that any event will occur as described by an organiser.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intrct Technologies, MissOut, and our directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or from any event you attend.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform (other than where liability cannot be excluded) shall not exceed the greater of (a) the platform fees paid by you to MissOut for the transaction giving rise to the claim, or (b) one thousand Indian Rupees (₹1,000). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MissOut and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your events, or your violation of these Terms.
The platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (including Razorpay). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Your use of Razorpay is subject to Razorpay's applicable terms and privacy policy.
You may stop using MissOut and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Termination does not affect accrued payment obligations or our right to retain records as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continued use of MissOut after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
